My friend, Steph, has decided to join me on this blog. Isn’t that great? I’m working on getting her settled in, but you’ll be hearing from her soon.

We may end up with a new wordpress template soon, too. Deaf Musician is holding a contest for a custom Wordpress Theme and we’ve entered. Not only have we entered, but we’ve been recognized as a possible winner. Yay. I’m very excited.

The idea behind this site is to make a lot of different graphics and such for you to use on your site. However, I’m obviously slacking. I’ve been looking around my computer for ones I’ve made for old sites that I can put up, so you’ll see those soon.

I was going to make and release layouts, but that doesn’t work out so well. I don’t think I want to do it that way. I think I want to limit it to MySpace layouts and Wordpress themes. I have another site where I’m going to put the regular layouts and stuff. I have too many sites, don’t I?

So Jenny is working on helping me put the old Dreamer layout into Wordpress. Once that’s ready it will be released into circulation. From then on, all the layouts released here will be Wordpress Themes and the layout versions of them will be released over at Lala Land. I can’t wait to open my project sites. Very soon!

Today’s my wedding anniversary so I won’t be working hard today, but I will get this all in order in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out!

I noticed today that my site wasn’t working well in Firefox, I’m sorry for that. I asked the designer on his blog if he knew why, but he didn’t get back to me. So I’m not really sure what the problem was, but I reuploaded the theme and made all the same changes while checking on them each time. I couldn’t recreate the problem (which is good). So everything should be back to the way it was before. Here’s hoping.

Michael’s gotten me stuck on Maple Story again. I found myself playing and then working while I stopped to heal. It’s been a long time since I played, I hope I don’t get sucked into that world again. I don’t think I will. It’s such a cute game but after like level 40 it’s damn near impossible to level without hacks. And the hackers make it annoying to even play.

I have a layout coming soon. I’m going to code it tomorrow and release it as a layout. It’ll probably take me a couple more weeks to set it up as a Wordpress template. Are tables too old school now? Is everyone using CSS/divs?

I really regret not having any time to blog today because I really wanted to enter into this Photo Friday meme. It really peeked my interest and thought it would be a great way to test my creativity. But this week’s challenge was ‘Oddity’ and I really don’t have any ideas for that. I’d like to start that challenge with something a little easier.

But, the reason I wasn’t able to blog today… I got a message from my friend Lina. She was totally wigging out. She had a project that had to be done and, while it was done, it was having some issues in Internet Explorer. Like, basically, it straight up didn’t work. She asked for my help. It took me 8 hours to recode 6 pages and fix minor issues (that were originally from the PSD).

The site was for MTV. Yes, MTV! It was for their Staying Alive Award thing they have going on in Vegas in September. You get to bid on some stuff for charity, like seats at the MTV Video Music Awards. See it here. Aren’t you so proud of me?
